Giovanbattista Laghezza

Giovanbattista (Gigi) began his career in 1970 as an R&D Engineer. In 1973, he was put in charge of the maintenance and calibration team in respect of the instrumentation laboratories operating within the Italian military (Navy, Army and Air Force). In 1980, Gigi started his sales activity, focusing on instrumentation and microwave components (RF). In 1982, Gigi established his first two companies, which he worked at until 1994, and both are still operating in the Italian market today. In 1995, with his expectation of the opportunities that would be created by the future European Common Market, Gigi left these companies to set up the UR Group, which is present today throughout Europe with more than 30 offices, as well as in the USA (US headquarters are in California).

Stefan Haas
C.F.O. & Managing Director Central Europe
Stefan Haas is C.F.O. at UR Holding. Prior to his activity at UR he worked as a senior-consultant at Credit Suisse AG with a special focus on consulting midsized companies in M&A, Financing and Strategy Planning. As a Founder and Managing Director of his own consulting company he also gained successfully experience in founding, growing and selling his own company. Before that, he worked in a Berlin-based private equity fund as Senior Investment Manager.Relevant working experience: 15 years

Ermes Arnoldo
Controller
Ermes Arnoldo has more than 20 years' experience in the financial and administration sector. Ermes has broad experience in both manufacturing and service companies, both in Italy and abroad (10 years in Africa, Central America, and North Europe). His most recent experience, prior to joining UR was as CFO of a logistics company (stocking and distribution) in Italy.

Luca DeZorzi
Director Marketing UR Holding
Luca DeZorzi started his career in 1989 in a technical sales organization. Luca has been with the UR Group since the company was founded, initially serving as Key Account Manager for accounts such as Siemens, Ericsson and Marconi. Luca has strong technical skills, and has provided both a sales and technical interface for suppliers including PMC Sierra, Vitesse, Multilink and AMCC. Since 2001, Luca has served as UR Group’s Marketing Director. Luca has an undergraduate degree in Electronics and a Master's Degree in Management and Development.

Alberto has more than 15 years’ experience in the Electronics and Semiconductor industries, with 9 years as a Standard Products Sales and Product Manager. The majority of Alberto’s experience is in Sales and Marketing of semiconductors, components and sub-systems for telecom, datacom and power applications. Alberto co-founded UR-Iberia in 1997.

Yoav Lavi
Managing Director Israel
Yoav has experience in the Electronics and Semiconductor industry since 1994. The majority of his experience is in Sales and Marketing of components and sub-systems for telecom and datacom applications. Yoav first worked as a Design Engineer for Laser metering products, and then spent 7 years as a Standard Products Sales Manager. In 2001, Yoav co-founded UR-Israel. Yoav received a BSc from the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.

Mikael Rosvall
Managing Director Scandinavia
Mikael worked for Ericsson for 10 years in various positions. After Ericsson, Mikael joined Celsius Tech for 6 years. He worked as a Project Manager in the purchasing department. After that, Mikael became General Manager of an Irish company, Tecscan, where he worked for 6 years. In that position, Mikael’s primary role was setting up partnerships between OEM customers in Scandinavia and world class suppliers in electronics. Mikael co-founded UR-Scandanavia in 2001.

Joe Matano
Managing Director U.K.
Joe spent 17 years working in the power electronics industry in the UK. Much of this time was with Tamura Corp. of Japan, working in Design, Quality and Sales. Joe also spent 3 years in sales with a power supply distributor. Joe co-founded UR UK in 1999. Joe has an HNC in Electronics and a NQA in Quality Assurance Systems.

Karl Eder
Managing Director Austria
Karl started in Sales and Product Management for Electronics Components at one of the major Distributor in Vienna more than 20 years ago. He also spent 6 Years in Switzerland as a Sales Manager for an Electronic Component Distributor. During this time he founded B.E.S.T. Electronics Distribution GmbH in Austria and acted there as General Manager. In July 2007 he sold the shares to UR and is now part of the UR Group.
