UR (www.ur-home.com), stellt die neuen SB16C552 PCI Controller als Single Chip Lösung mit zwei UART Ports vor. Die PCI Controller werden ohne Umwege direkt mit dem PCI Bus im System des Anwenders verbunden und sind voll kompatibel mit der PCI BUS Spezifikation v2.3. Weitere Leistungsmerkmale der Controller Bausteine sind:
• 33 MHz und 66 MHz
• Header Settings über serielles ROM
• Options Register
• Komplette Modem Signalisierung TX/RX (TTL)
• Interrupt POLL / MASK Register
• 3,3V/ 0,5V Toleranz
Geliefert werden die PCI Controller im 176 Pin TQFP Gehäuse. Dem Entwickler steht darüber hinaus ein komplettes Entwicklungskit inkl. Hardwarebeschaltung, CAD Files, S/W Treiber und Source Codes zur Verfügung.

 UR offers a low-cost, high-efficiency power cube inductor series with low core loss and no thermal aging from its partner Pulse Engineering PG0322NL series ideal for PC server and motherboard markets
UR (www.ur-home.com) announces a new line in its family of through-hole, shielded, shaped-core power inductors. Designed for PC motherboard and server markets, the PG0322NL series is ideal for use in voltage regulator modules (VRMs), DC/DC converters, and point of load applications.
The PG0322NL inductors have a high heating current rating of 32 amperes to 60 amperes (A) and a high current saturation capability from 30A to 50A, ideal for high current, multiphase buck converter applications. The series has an operating temperature range of minus 40 degrees Celsius to plus 130 degrees Celsius, providing power supply design engineers enough margin for thermal de-rating especially for high ambient temperature applications. The PG0322NL series offers a wide open circuit inductance (OCL), ranging from 0.28 to 1.20 microhenries which gives the engineers a free hand in choosing the inductance value for the smallest ripple current and fastest system transient response. The low direct current resistance (DCR) ranging from 0.60 to 1.65 milliohms yields higher system efficiency due to lower copper losses...

 New unfiltered connector modules from Pulse complement
LAN and telecom products
UR (www.ur-home.com) announced that its principle PULSE, a Technitrol company has introduced a new line of unfiltered connector modules for networking and telecom infrastructure equipment such as switches and routers. The connectors are also used for networked terminal devices such as printers, televisions, security cameras, DSL modems, VoIP phones and game consoles.
The connector product line, being offered under a cooperative agreement with Taiwan-based manufacturer Full Rise Electronics Co. Ltd (FRE), complements Pulse’s existing line of integrated local area network (LAN) connector modules that incorporate filter magnetics. Technitrol acquired controlling interest in FRE in September 2004.

UR (www.ur-home.com) introduces the new LPE Series from its partner TDI Power. The new LPE series has an overall hight of 1U and is scalable from 500VA up to 6KVA with a typical 86% efficiency. Hot swappable and true sinewave technology, paired with a total harmonic distortion (THD) of < 1% makes the LPE series ideal for robust and reliable applications, where space is premium, such as solar applications, wind power generators, fuel cell systems and test stands, as well as micro cell base stations and network data centers.
Key features and parameters of the LPE series are:
• compact design, only 142.2mm x 274,3mm
• Supports N+1 redundancy
• Up to 3 LPE500´s per shelf for 1500 VA

Pulse, a Technitrol (NYSE: TNL) Company, one of the world’s largest electronic component manufacturers and a leader in passive, magnetics-based components, announced it has expanded its wireless communications product offering through the acquisition of LK Products Oy, Kempele, Finland, a leading global producer of cellular and non-cellular antennas and integrated modules for mobile handsets. This positions Pulse as the world’s second largest supplier of handset antennas, building on its already comprehensive line of RF magnetic components for use in wireless and RF applications.
