New Power Magnetics Catalog – RoHS conform products.
UR (www.ur-home.com) announces the release of the 2005 Power Magnetics Catalog of its partner Pulse. Pulse offers a complete range of power magnetics for DC-to-DC converter and AC-to-DC applications. The magnetics are divided into six product types: power inductors, high-frequency switching power transformers, current sense magnetics, gate drive transformers, common mode chokes, and low frequency laminated transformers. The new 108-page catalog provides design and component engineers and purchasing agents with all the information they need to select a power magnetics product. The catalog contains a complete parts index and datasheets for each part. Over 95% of the components listed in Pulse’s Power Magnetics Catalog are currently RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant. UR INTRODUCES HIGH-DENSITY 1U ASTEC SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY FOR NETWORKING AND OTHER RACK APPLICATIONS Single-Output 125-Watt LPS122 Features Active Power Factor Correction, Standby and Auxiliary Outputs UR (www.ur-home.com) has announced the introduction of the LPS122 switching power supply – the latest model in the new high-density 3” x 5” (76 x 127 mm) power supply family from Astec Power At 6.7 Watts per cubic inch, the units can deliver up to 130 Watts of total power at 5V. The unit can deliver its full rated output of 130W with 30 CFM forced air or 80W with convection cooling. Featuring active power factor correction to minimize input harmonic distortion, the LPS122 is a compact 85-264 VAC power supply that is ideal for 1U (1.75-inch, 44 mm) rack installations and other low-profile applications. This compact low power switcher is well suited for a wide range of uses including telecommunications, networking, test and measurement, single-board computers and gigabit Ethernet devices. Only 1.29 inches (33 mm) high, the LPS122 has a compact footprint of only 3 inches by 5 inches (76 x 127 mm) and can be set up for lengthwise or crosswise airflow, giving designers layout flexibility.
